WORKING GROUPSWorking Groups of the National GIS Coordination Committee
In the NGCC meeting in January 2003 it was agreed to form five Working Groups within the NGCC, to work on specific important issues for the establishment of the National SDI. In a meeting in March 2003, it was decided that a sixth group should be formed. The six groups are:
WG 1 Fundamental Data
WG 2 GI Standards
WG 3 Metadata
WG 4 Architecture and Infrastructure
WG 5 Institutional and Organisational Framework
WG 6 Education and Human Resources
The working groups consist of NGCC member organisations, but could also invite other organisations or individuals with valuable knowledge in the thematic field of the Working Group.
